What happened
About 13:00 on 26 December a family member called 119 saying the rider had fallen while snowboarding and was unconscious, and could not tell whether the rider was breathing. The man was taken to hospital in cardiopulmonary arrest and was pronounced dead. The rider and the family member had come to the ski area together and were riding a course inside the managed area. Police were investigating what happened and the cause of death.
