Who it suits

For visitors who want a compact hill close to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, with a choice between the lower slope and a ropeway ride to the highland.

Terrain to know

The official guide separates a base area and a highland area, eight courses in all. Its 5 km descent combines several runs and depends on the connecting route being open.

How to read this map

Start at the ropeway base near town and find the highland station above. Trace Panorama, Cosmos and Komakusa before assuming you can ski all the way back down.
