Best considered by skiers who want a large, multi-area mountain and are willing to plan a longer route, including a visit to the snow-monster area.
Zao stretches from the Jizo summit side down to several bases, with a longest route around 10 km. The slopes and ropeways are spread over a broad footprint.
Start by locating your return base, then follow the ropeway chain toward Jizo Sancho and the snow-monster area. A line reaching one base may not return you to another.
